Save the date ! 11/12/09 Comedy night at the Brooklyn Lyceum. There will be 4 comedians bringing laughter into the cool Novenmber night. Elizabeth O'Reilly has set up a wonderful event with all proceeds benefiting Marion Lake Project. Tickets will be $25 each for a guaranteed FUN evening. Check back for more information. Also don't forget to stop by our booth at the Greenport Seaport Festival this coming weekend 9/19/09-9/20/09. Raffle tickets are still available for the Tony Scarmato water color prints that will be given away Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
The comedy night is at 8PM but the doors open at 7:30. We have 4 headliner comedians, beer & wine will be sold, a great night out, beet the winter blues, come out an laugh, it's the best medicine !
We, as residents on or near Marion Lake, have an opportunity to reduce and then eliminate the invasion of the Phragmite. Our mission is to restore the lake to its original beauty and to bring back the wildlife that are becoming absent. We intend to help others with their eradication projects by using this project as a test model for the DEC.
