An informative meeting, regarding the Marion Lake Project, will be held at the East Marion Fire House this Saturday 5/23 at 10:00 am. Biologists will be on hand to discuss how we can maintain what we've already accomplished and to discuss re-cutting plans and more. Please come, it's sure to be enlightening and educational.

Thank you all for coming out on Saturday for the meeting, it was a terrific turnout. I hope everyone walked away some good knowledge, please remember to pick up your cuttings and hold onto them until the dumpsters come as they will shortly. Upon my arrival home this evening I was very excited to find the partial reimbursement check promised by the DEC ! It appears we are back in business and ready for Phase 2. Good things come to those who wait, just in time ! As discussed at the meeting, this is not over and we will still need to raise more funds so now that the summer season has officially begun, let's not forget the Phragmite fight !
